I was blessed with the opportunity to spend a week on the Maine Coast on a photography workshop led by John Paul Caponigro -- highly recommended if you like outdoor photography and being pushed beyond your typical shooting patterns. This was ostensibly a "fall foliage" tour, but as you'll see, what I liked from my week was anything but foliage.

Willow Fen has been my parents' home --and full-time gardening project-- for the past several years. Some of my best gardening images have been taken on my many weekend visits to their home.

While on a summer roadtrip across the Canadian prairie, we saw several grain elevators that caught our fancy.
