This is gorgeous! I’m a new WordPress user who is much more of a coder than designer, and I’ve finally decided that just because I can hack my own theme together doesn’t mean I should!

Anyway, I’ve been toying with getting Thesis but just wasn’t sold until seeing your site. I love how you’ve made something uniquely yours while retaining the aesthetic simplicity and the integrity of the markup. Kudos!

(You should hit Chris up for a finders’ fee. /grin)

@BlogMediaGroup3: Well … you can certainly look at my custom.css file. That will tell you most of what you need to know.

The core of the full-height solid-color background technique comes from Ruthsarian. I did hack on the header and footer files a bit to make the styles fit in. FYI I just became aware that IE6 screws up the layout if the screen width gets too narrow. I haven’t had time to look for a fix for that. Gotta love IE6, don’tcha?

Dude, this is so badass, I don’t know what to do with myself. I mean, I definitely expected some very capable people to latch onto the theme and do amazing things with it, but this is just so well done… Wow. I love how you’ve really played to the inherent simplicity of the theme, and in my opinion, you’ve really brought out the very best aspects of it. I’m all about this free-flowing, unencumbered look, and I simply can’t say enough good things about your work here.

I’m getting ready to publish a new “Thesis Gallery Showcase” page, and if you don’t mind, I’m gonna toss this site up on it. Frankly, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
